Danny Lane

TOP NEWS: Danny is featured in the current issue of the worlds only glossy Musical Theatre magazine 'M.' and receives a place at Guildford School of Acting for the BA (Hons) Musical Theatre course starting September 2012!

At the end of March 2012, Danny took part in a photo shoot for M. Magazine, the words only glossy magazine dedicated to Musical Theatre! Today, that issue of the magazine was officially released and also features shoots with Danielle Hope, the winner of 'Over The Rainbow' as well as Kimberly Wyatt of Pussycat Doll fame and Aussie actor Adam Garcia.

Danny was part of many students from a range of different drama schools in a shoot called 'Stagey School' - all about the excitement, experience and learning of going to drama school. You can download the issue from various different sources including an iTunes and PocketMag/Facebook app, all for under £3. To find out how to purchase this issue, all previous issues and more about M. themselves, visit
www.m-isfor.co.uk! We will also upload some of the pictures Danny was featured in onto the website under the 'Photos' tab to whet your appetite!

It is with great pleasure that we announce that Danny has been accepted onto the 3 year BA (Hons) Musical Theatre course at the prestigious Guildford School of Acting starting in September 2012! GSA is one of the top drama schools around and Danny is absolutely thrilled and honoured to be joining them and meeting lots of wonderful new people.

This means that Danny will be moving out of London to live in Guildford during the 3 year course. This is very exciting but equally scary move as this will be the first time that he will have semi-permanently lived away from home! This also means that should you like to contact Danny for any gigs, he would only be available during holiday time so please bear this in mind!

Previous alumni at GSA include Michael Ball, Daniel Boys, Tom Chambers, Nicole Faraday, Dianne Pilkington, Helena Blackman and many, many more.

In other performance news, Danny recently staged his very first solo show 'An Evening With Danny Lane & Friends' at The Bull Theatre in High Barnet. After months of meticulous planning, we are thrilled to say that it was a sell out! The audience seemed to love it with a much appreciated standing ovation at the end of the evening and Danny has never had a better time in his life! He was joined onstage by some very special friends including Chris Macklin, Matthew Barrow, Nicky Faraday and Stephen Ashfield. To each of them, the members of the band, Susi, David & everyone at The Bull (including all tech & lighting), Nick Staton & everyone at Staton's Estate Agents, everyone who helped produce and promote the show - and of course, the incredible audience - THANK YOU for making it a truly unforgettable evening.

Welcome!

Thank you for visiting the official website for aspiring young performer Danny Lane. Danny is currently 17 years old and having performed on-stage for half of his life, he can definitely call the stage his second home. He trained for 4 glorious years at The Susi Earnshaw Theatre School in High Barnet and is now in his last year studying an Extended Diploma in Music at Barnet College. He hopes to further his training by taking a 3 year course in Musical Theatre at Drama School. Danny is currently in his last year at The Royal Academy of Music, Junior Department training part-time in Classical Singing. Danny also loves to sing Swing and takes a huge influence from Michael Bublé. If you think Danny would be right for your event, please have a look at the 'Videos' tab to see him in action - and then contact him via the 'Contact' tab!
